The Special Branch of CBI conducted a raid in the Salt Lake residence of Ashok Todi in search of Ashok Todi, his brother Pradip Todi and brother-in-law Anil Sarogi against whom non-bailable arrest warrants were issued by the court earlier in the day.
A man filed a complaint in Kolkata on Tuesday claiming that Ashok Todi, the prime accused in the Rizwanur case, broke up his marriage with Todi's daughter Spriha. "It is a little setback for us that the Supreme Court has ordered that a fresh investigation with a murder charge being instituted by the CBI is not needed and the trial will be held for abetment to suicide," said Rukbanur Rahman.
